2 Irish Men!

Two Irishmen in London whilst looking for work were strolling down Oxford Street. After walking for a few minutes, Paddy turns to Murphy with a look of amazement on his face and says:
"Murphy, will you have a look at that shop over there, I thought that London was supposed to be expensive but that shop is as cheap as chips!"

Murphy says: "Paddy you're right so you are, will you have a look at that. Suits £10.00, Shirts £4.00, Trousers £5.00, I think that we should buy the lot and take them back to Ireland. We would make a tidy profit selling them in Dublin, so we would."

Paddy says in agreement: "Murphy that is as good an idea as you'll ever have, but I'm pretty sure that you have to pay taxes and duty on things like that.

The shopkeeper will never let us have them if he thinks we're gonna export them and make our fortune, so he won't. Murphy thinks and says: "Paddy, I've got an idea!

You can do the best English accent out of the pair of us. You go in there and do the talking and I'll just stand behind you and say nothing. He'll never guess we're Irish. No he won't."

"OK Murphy", agrees Paddy, "I'll do the talking, you just stand there and look English."

So the 2 visitors to the illustrious capital city go into the shop, where Paddy is greeted politely by the owner. Paddy then proceeds to do his best Warren Mitchell impression;

"Awwwight Guvnor, I'll `ave 20 of yer `Whistle'un Flutes', 20 `Dickie Dirts'and 20 pairs of strides. And if yer don't mind, I'll be paying with the 380 `Pictures of the Queen in my `Sky Rocket'."

Upon hearing this request from Paddy, the owner smiles, takes a look at Murphy as well then says to Paddy "You're Irish aren't you?"

Quite bemused, Paddy replies, "Oh be Jesus. Mary, if that ain't me best English accent? How in God's name did you know that we were Irish?" The Owner replies "

A 38-year-old woman Malaysian woman claims her twin baby is missing. She said she was awake during the Cesarean operation on March 21 and is convinced two babies were removed from her womb, although the hospital said she only had one girl.
The health ministry will investigate, the New Straits Times paper said. It said health officials had repeatedly told here she would only have one baby, while she and her husband maintained that they had been expecting two.
This happens to people who have little education or little money and it ain't fair. People go to hospitals hoping to be helped but in response,some of these people take advantage of that. This isn't the first time a mother has complained of her twin missing. Sometimes,a woman is told that her child is dead when the child isn't. The nurses tell this lie to the mother and then sell the child to an affluent childless couple which is very unfair. I pray that the culprits get caught sooner rather than later.

But on a lighter note,an Algerian woman gave birth to seven babies at a public hospital in the capital Algiers.The mother gave birth to a boy and six girls at the Kouba public hospital on Wednesday, 19th April, 2007 and she is in good condition.

According to the latest Guinness World Records, there have been three known cases of seven children surviving birth; two in the United States and one in Saudi Arabia.

The latest case was in December 1998 when six girls and two boys were born, but the lightest, weighing 11.3 ounces (320 grams), died a week later.

South Africa Cricket Player Makhaya Ntini.

Born on July 7, 1977 in a small lesser known village in South Africa, he has come up well; when he was chosen to play for South Africa in the First Test against Sri Lanka at Cape Town in 1998, he was the first black player to play for his national team. Ntini came in at a very raw stage of his life, (a cow herder) his talent was too fresh and raw for him to make a big name in the South African team. He needed to be made finer, with some adjustments in his approach to the game. Once that was sorted out, he was ready for waging battles on the cricket field.
Makhaya Ntini made his ODI debut for South Africa in Perth against New Zealand in 1998 along with Mark Boucher. He could not have hoped for a better wicket to make his debut on. With a bowling action that reminds of West Indian great, the late Malcolm Marshall, Ntini bowls at a lively pace and skids the bowl through to make it uncomfortable for any batsman who faces him. He bowled his full quota of ten overs for hostility at its best, giving just 31 runs and taking his first two ODI wickets, those of Stephen Fleming and Adam Parore.

because he remained in South Africa to be with his wife at the birth of the couple's second child.
Ntini was due to arrive in St Kitts later on Wednesday 18th April, but captain Graeme Smith said he would not be rushed into the team.
"With Makhaya arriving late we'll give him some time to find his feet," South African captain Graeme Smith told a news conference on Wednesday.
"We wanted him to sort out his family business first, we don't want him worrying about his wife and daughter.
"We wanted his mind fully focused and we feel he will have enough time to prepare before the game against Scotland [on Tuesday]."

Ntini, a very fast bowler,he is so full of energy that is so positive and shows very much in his bowling as he bowls those searing seamers and and I-wanna-Keep-You-Interested-Bouncers not to mention the Piercing Yorkers now and then. One might say hostility is his middle name!

With the absence of the senior bowlers like Allan Donald, Ntini has really smoothly moved in with the responsibility of taking the new ball for South Africa. He has never been disappointing and is a 100% man for the team every time. Again, a fine example was when South Africa toured England in 2003 – in the Lord’s test, he became the first Black cricketer from South Africa to get 10 wickets in a match; something laudable by any means. That game was better known for the present skipper’s double ton, that took the game away from England, but Ntini was at his prime, and no less spectacular.

The shameful exit of England from the world cup shocked my close friend, he had bn following the game and was grossly disappointed when England lost to South Africa. I watch Cricket,understand some of it but not all of it.Lol. Have been to a couple of games in CapeTown, South Africa, but still dont fully understand the game. Too complicated for me. 1 minute i think i understand,next it gets confusing. I understand how the points are awarded but dont fully grasp the overs and how many wickets a team needs to win....U see South Africa needs 256-4 or Bangladesh needs 10 overs to win and i'm like what?

South Africa outclassed England to take their place in the World Cup semi-finals after a nine-wicket victory in their Super Eights game on Tuesday at the Kensington Oval.

The defeat ended England's hopes of making the last four and the South Africans now join Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka in the semi-finals.
