Paddy needed money. He went to playground, grabbed a kid, and said, “I’ve kidnapped u."
He wrote a note saying, "I've kidnapped ur kid.Tomorrow, put £10,000 in a bag put it by the tree in the playground. Signed, Irishman."
He then pinned the note to the kid and sent him home.
The next morning paddy checked. A paper bag was there with the £10,000 inside, with a note that said, "How could you do this to a fellow Irishman?"

I must confess I don't get the joke. I don't get any punchline, plus why would the kidnapper send the kid home?? I'm lost, and it's probably me, but I read it several times. Can you explain without ruining the joke for others?
Hey Anon., sorry to have responded this late. If you are Nigerian, the joke simply means that the Irish are 'Mumu' people, lol.
Not Nigerian...didn't know the joke was Nigerian-targetted. Ah well...
It's not Nigerian targetted. The term 'Mumu' is a Nigerian word that I thought you might know if you were Nigerian, lol.
The joke just means the Irish have the tendency of being gullible...with all due respect. It's only a joke, lol.
Ohhhh, ok now I get it...Both sides were acting stupidly. Well, now I know what "mumu" means.
Cool! I am glad you learned a new word here, lol.
