Chad Ochocinco getting divorced after only 41 days of marriage

Evelyn Lozada is ending her 41-day-old marriage to Chad Johnson after the football star was arrested for allegedly head-butting her over the weekend.

Danika Berry, a rep for the VH1 reality star, confirmed reports that Lozada filed for divorce today, Tuesday 14th August.
Earlier, Lozada issued a statement saying Johnson — who was cut by the Miami Dolphins after the Saturday arrest — "needs help." She also said that he was lying when he told police she head-butted him.

The former Miami Dolphins wide receiver until recently known as Chad Ochocinco – is named in the court paperwork filed Tuesday in Florida by his wife of six weeks Evelyn Lozada.

“I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred. I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death,” Johnson said in a statement on his website Tuesday.
The two were wed July 4 after their courtship was detailed on VH1's "Basketball Wives." Their nuptials were to be part of the VH1 reality show "Ev & Ocho," but it's now been shelved.

The altercation allegedly occurred after Lozada questioned him about a receipt for condoms that she found.

I never liked watching Basketball wives because when I tried to watch it last season, all the females on the show were either an ex wife, wx gf or a baby mama, no wife so I didnt bother watching it. However people who watch it claim that Evelyn is a bi$&h and is psychotic and they think she may have truly headbutted Chad rather than the way she told the story.
It's a shame though.
