Alec Baldwin sues Kevin Costner over BP oil cleanup deal.
Yesterday, Kevin Costner and Stephen Baldwin met in a New Orleans court to hash out a lawsuit over investments in a device used to try to clean up BP's 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Baldwin is suing Costner claiming that Costner and a business partner duped him and a friend out of their shares of an $18 million deal for BP to buy oil-separating centrifuges after the April 2010 spill.
Costner arrived for opening statements wearing a blazer and khakis; Baldwin wore a mint green shirt and was sweating profusely.
