Gisele Bundchen hasn't actually announced that she's expecting her second child with husband, pro football player Tom Brady, but the model more or less confirmed the news yesterday when she donned a silver string bikini on a Costa Rican beach, revealing that her usually super-flat abs had indeed been replaced with a burgeoning baby bump.

When UCLA offered Cordell Broadus a scholarship, the Bruins were doing more than trying to attract a promising sophomore wide receiver and defensive back for Diamond Bar (Calif.) High. In essence, the program was staking a claim to territory in the L.A. pop culture spotlight, for one very clear reason: Cordell Broadus is Snoop Dogg's son.

As reported by the ESPNLA and the National Football Post, UCLA coach Jim Mora Jr. recently offered a scholarship to Broadus, despite the fact that the rising sophomore has spent just one year in high school, and played on the Diamond Bar freshman squad during that campaign. At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, the younger Broadus, Snoop Dogg's legal name is Calvin Broadus, has a body which could develop into that of a legitimate Division I prospect, but no one knows whether he'll continue to grow.

David Beckham not selected for Britain's Olympic squad

Former England captain David Beckham was not selected to the British football team for the London Olympics.
The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder made Britain coach Stuart Pearce's shortlist of 35 but wasn't selected for the final 18-man squad as one of three players over the age of 23 allowed to compete in the games.
"Everyone knows how much playing for my country has always meant to me, so I would have been honored to have been part of this unique Team GB squad," the 37-year-old Beckham said today.

Beckham had been widely expected to be selected for the Olympic squad after playing an instrumental role in in helping Sebastian Coe and his team win the bid in 2005 to host the games.

"Naturally I am very disappointed, but there will be no bigger supporter of the team than me. And like everyone, I will be hoping they can win the gold.

"As a Londoner, I will have been really proud to have played a small part in bringing the Olympics to my home town as part of Seb's team, and I can't wait for the games to begin and enjoy every moment along with the rest of Great Britain," Beckham said.

Britain's three overage players will be Welsh stars Ryan Giggs and Craig Bellamy and English defender Micah Richards, a person familiar with the situation said.

I am sure a lot of people were looking forward to ogling his sexy body seeing him play at the Olympics but ..Oh well.
