2nd Most beautiful Woman in the UNIVERSE...My Opinion

Naomi Campbell is the most beautiful woman in the universe....after Halle Berry.

Biography:
Naomi Campbell is a name synonymous with the supermodel phenomenon of the late '80s and 1990s.

At the tender age of 15, Campbell was officially signed with a modeling agency, and would soon gain fame as the first black woman to appear on the covers of French and British Vogue, as well as Time magazines. She was blessed with the exotic visage of Jamaican-Chinese heritage. Her startlingly intense eyes and perfect model features earned her much success on the runway and in print, and she would go on to explore numerous realms of the entertainment world including film, television, and pop music throughout her career.

Campbell was born May 22, 1970, in Stratham, London, England. As a child, she gained a taste of acting, appearing in a film called Quest for Fire. Along with her early start in the modeling profession, she honed her limelight skills by attending the London Academy for Performing Arts.
Her enduring career as a model and background in performance would lead her to the Hollywood scene, where she gained credits alongside numerous big names in film. Her film debut came in 1991, when she appeared as a singer in Cool As Ice. In 1995, Campbell played Kaia in Miami Rhapsody starring Antonio Banderas and Sarah Jessica Parker, and a year later appeared in Spike Lee's Girl 6. She also made several cameos as herself throughout the 1990s, both in films and on television. Making a case for herself as a performer in various television genres, she guest starred on numerous prime-time programs including The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, New York Undercover, and The Cosby Show.

Campbell would branch out into the music business with the release of her album Baby woman in 1995, and gained much attention in Japan over her hit single on the album. In 1996, she was featured in Tony Hickox's Invasion of Privacy, and in 1997, An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn, starring Sylvester Stallone, Whoopi Goldberg, and Jackie Chan. In addition, her media credits were rounded off by two books: the best-seller -Swan, co-written by Campbell, and -Naomi, a collection of photographs spanning the length of the model's career.

Anna Nicole Smith's diaries for over half a million dollars!

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Two diaries written by Anna Nicole Smith have sold on online auction site eBay for more than $500,000 (255,00 pounds) to a German man planning to use them as the basis of a book, according to the memorabilia house that sold them.

Jeff Woolf, co-partner and auction director at Universal Rarities in Corona, California, said the diaries, from 1992 and 1994, were found a few years ago by a man cleaning out a house in Los Angeles where Smith stayed during a filming

He sold the diaries to a memorabilia collector who runs a shop on Hollywood Boulevard who came forward with the diaries after the mystery death of the former Playmate in a Florida hotel on February 8 at the age of 39.

In the 1992 diary, which has the words "I follow my own star" on the cover, Woolf said Smith confesses: "I hate for men to want sex all the time. I hate sex." This diary sold for about $285,000.

In the second diary Smith writes about the illness of her billionaire husband Howard Marshall, who died in 1995 at the age of 90, with a religious awakening with lots of references to Jesus. This sold for about $230,000.

Woolf said the demand for Smith memorabilia had been overwhelming following her death so the price realised for these diaries was not that surprising.
"I don't think I've had the luck of being in such a situation, where the timing was really that perfect as far as the peak of someone's popularity in the news," he told Reuters.
"The gentleman who bought them required to be anonymous but I can tell you he is from Germany and has the intention of making a book out of them and doing some things in the publishing world."

The long-awaited results of an autopsy on Smith will be made public on Monday by a Florida medical examiner.

Her death triggered a bitter and highly publicised legal feud over her remains and the custody of her 6-month-old daughter, Dannielynn, who might one day inherit millions.

Smith was buried in the Bahamas on March 2.

Her longtime companion and lawyer, Howard K. Stern, is listed as the father on her daughter's birth certificate but several other men, including Los Angeles photographer Larry Birkhead, also claim to be the father and the paternity issue is still being fought in the courts.

What goes around,comes around!

Sir Winston Churchill.

Sir Alexander Fleming

His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer.
One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog. There, up to his waist in black mire, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.

The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved. "I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son's life." "No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel. "Is that your son?" the nobleman asked. "Yes," the farmer replied proudly. "I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of." And that he did.

Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.

Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia. What saved his life this time? Penicillin.

The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill. His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill.

Pakistani Cricket Coach (Bob Woolmer) was Strangled!

A murder inquiry is under way after it was confirmed that Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer was strangled.

A post-mortem examination showed his death was caused by asphyxia as a result of manual strangulation, Jamaican police said.
The death sparked speculation that it was linked to alleged corruption in the sport.

Woolmer, 58, was found unconscious by staff at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston at around 10.45am on Sunday, the day after Pakistan's shock World Cup defeat to cricketing minnows Ireland.

It is understood the coach was found in the bathroom area. Despite numerous attempts to revive him on the way to hospital, he later died.

Jamaica's deputy police commissioner Mark Shields said police were ruling nothing out in their inquiries, including the possibility that more than one person had been involved in Woolmer's murder.

He said: "It would take some force, because Bob was a large man, It would have taken some significant force to subdue him, but of course at this stage we do not know how many people were in the room at the time. It could be one or more people involved in this murder."

Mr Shields confirmed Woolmer had shown no signs of life when he was found in his hotel room and said there had been no signs of a struggle.
He said police had delayed announcing Woolmer had been murdered until the results of the pathologist's report was known.

He said: "In these particular circumstances we had to make sure because there were no visible external signs (of his murder). Not until the report was concluded were we able to draw conclusions."

U have got to love this!

A wife was helping her husband set up his computer, and at the appropriate point in the process, told him that he would now need to enter a password.

Something he will use to log on.

The husband was in a rather amorous mood and figured he would try for the shock effect to bring this to his wife's attention.

So, when the computer asked him to enter his password, he made it plainly obvious to his wife that he was keying in...

P.....

E.....

His wife fell off her chair laughing when the computer replied: PASSWORD DENIED - NOT LONG ENOUGH.

BIOGRAPHY :
Halle Berry was born on August 14, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA to African American father Jerome Berry, a former hospital attendant, and Caucasian mother Judith Berry, a retired psychiatric nurse. Halle also has an older sister named Heidi. Halle first came into the spotlight at 17 years old when she won the Miss Teen All-American Pageant, representing the state of Ohio in 1985 and a year later in 1986 when she was the first
runner-up in the Miss USA Pageant.

After participating in the pageant, Halle became a model. It eventually led to her first weekly TV series, 1989's "Living Dolls" (1989), where she soon gained a reputation for her on set tenacity, preferring to "live" her roles and remaining in character even when the cameras stopped rolling. It paid off though when she reportedly refused to bathe for several days before starting work on her role as a crack addict in Spike Lee's Jungle Fever (1991) because the role provided her big screen breakthrough.

The following year, she was cast as Eddie Murphy's love interest in Boomerang (1992), one of the few times that Murphy was evenly matched on screen. In 1994, Berry gained a youthful following for her performance as sexy secretary Sharon Stone in The Flintstones (1994). She next had a highly publicized costarring role with Jessica Lange in the adoption drama Losing Isaiah (1995). Though the movie received mixed reviews, Berry didn't let that slow her down, and continued down her path to superstardom. In 1998, she received critical success when she starred as a street smart young woman who takes up with a struggling politician in Warren Beatty's Bulworth (1998).

The following year she won even greater acclaim for her role as actress Dorothy Dandridge in made-for-cable's Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999) (TV), for which she won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Movie/Mini-Series. In 2000, she received box office success in X-Men (2000) in which she played Storm, a mutant who has the ability to control the weather.

This post is dedicated to a special someone.
Sweden vs Nigeria -- (2-1)

Sweden tried to get in front early..... Henrik Larsson to Marcus Allback, whose shot was deflected wide.... then Olof Mellberg tried a long range shot that flew over the bar.

Nigeria's passing was disappointing too, with Celestine Babayaro failing to get on the end of Jay-Jay Okocha's inviting cross.

-- GOAL -- 0-1.

Nigeria must have watched the England vs Sweden video and noticed that Magnus Hedman was weak at anticipating headers on high balls. Julius Agahowa met the left wing cross to header past the flapping Hedman in the 27th minute.

In celebration, Agahowa performed six successive backflips and a high backward somersault to earn a 9.9 from the Olympic judges.

-- GOAL -- 1-1
Henrik Larsson equalised for Sweden eight minutes later, shaking off Taribo West to cooly plant the ball past Ike Shoronmu.

Nigeria could have taken the lead again shortly after as Jay-Jay Okocha ran through the Swedish defense and tried a shot from the left of the area. Teddy Lucic kicked the ball away but it bounced off the late arriving Johan Mjallby and back towards the goal...... saved only by the post.

Half-time: Sweden 1 -- Nigeria 1

Three minutes after the re-start, Hedman made amends by catching Babayaro's high cross, that looked dangerously like another headed goal in the making.
Nigeria were reduced to ten men for a while, as Taribo West received stitches on the sideline; after getting a cut above his left eye.

-- GOAL -- 2-1
Henrik Larsson scored his second goal, from the penalty spot, to put Sweden in front in the 62nd minute.

A bandaged Taribo West returned to the pitch, with less than hour to go, after changing his blood-spattered shirt.

Defeat here for Nigeria would mean elimination from the tournament, so striker Nwankwo Kanu was brought on for defender Celestine Babayaro.
John Utaka almost equalised for Nigeria, with eight minutes to go, but his shot was too soft and easily cleared off the line. A minute later, Joseph Yobo crashed a shot against the post.
Kanu tried to chip Hedman in the last minute of normal time, but it wasn't to be and Nigeria became the second team to be eliminated from the 2002 World Cup -- after Saudi Arabia.

Final Score:Sweden 2 -- Nigeria 1

Player of the Match:Henrik Larsson -- His two goals gave Sweden three very important points in the Group of Death.
