Spike Lee mistakenly links elderly couple to Trayvon Martin's Death

A twitter user- Marcus Davonnne Higgins stupidly tweeted a George Michael Zimmerman's address on twitter saying it was the address of George Zimmerman; the guy who killed Trayvon Martin.

Spike Lee saw this and retweeted it on his timeline without proper verification. Spike has about 250,000 followers on twitter so you can imagine the number of death threats this couple have received so far.

The elderly couple, David McClain, 72, and his wife, Elaine, 70, have found themselves in the center of the controversy. They told the Smoking Gun they're "afraid" due to the online linking of their address to Trayvon's killer. "We're keeping everything locked."

The McClains, who both work for the Seminole County school system, are now considering legal action. "Maybe we should get a lawyer and send a cease-and-desist letter to Spike Lee," Elaine said.
As of this morning, Lee has yet to remove the incorrect tweet or post a correction.

This Trayvon's case is getting out of hand. The Black Panther movement posted a reward for George Zimmerman a couple of days ago, he's wanted DEAD or ALIVE. The police need to do something ASAP!
